Introduction to the horizontal adjustment steps of the surface grinder worktable

When it comes to surface grinders, people generally believe that they are machine tools that can only grind surfaces. It can be said that the surface grinder is a model with great potential for development in grinding machine tools. Chinese surface grinder manufacturers should break away from the traditional thinking of surface grinding and further develop their own unique technologies and products by turning to non surface grinding such as curves or contours.

The levelness of the surface grinder worktable not only affects the normal use of the equipment, but also affects the work efficiency of the equipment. Therefore, in order to prolong the service life and improve work efficiency of the equipment, it is necessary to do a good job in adjusting and maintaining the level of the grinder:

1、 Adjust the workbench level:

1. Place the level in the center position of the workbench and move the workbench to the center position;

2. Loosen the # 3, 4, and horizontal adjustment screws, and only adjust the # 1, 2, 5, and # adjustment screws to adjust the level;

3. After the above horizontal adjustment, move the workbench to the left end, then adjust # 1, 3, and adjust the screws;

4. Move the workbench to the rightmost end, and then adjust # 2 level;

5. Move the workbench back to the center and check if it is level.

2、 Adjust the saddle level

1. Place the level in the center position of the workbench and move the saddle to the center position;

2. Move the saddle backward, adjust # 5, 3 and 4, and adjust the screw horizontally;

3. Move the saddle forward, adjust # 1, 2, 3, and 4, and adjust the screws horizontally;

4. Place the level in another direction and move the saddle to the center position;

5. Adjust the diagonal level of the saddle for moving # 3, 4, and screws forward and backward.

6. Move the saddle forward and adjust # 1, 2, and screws to adjust the diagonal level.

Although the horizontal adjustment operation of large surface grinders is cumbersome, its importance cannot be ignored.
